Does anyone really ever get tired of this combo?  seriously? tired?  I get that maybe some people dont think they should eat that much bread, and some people shouldnt eat so much cheese, but lets face it, this is a well worth indulgence.  Hands down, my favorite appetizer, especially when using really good crusty bread, which this was.  Actually it was a fresh, crisp baguette.

5 ingredients only!

 

1 loaf of Italian or French bread, sliced thin

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 ounces sliced thin fresh mozzarella

1 cup da Giulia Tomato Basil

Preheat oven to 350

brush olive oil on each piece of bread, place on cookie sheet and put in oven baking for 10 minutes or until chrisp

remove from oven and place slice fresh mozzarella cheese on each piece of bread, place back in oven for 5 minutes

remove from oven and top each piece of bread with spoonful of tomato basil

serve
