Another easy recipe, 20 minutes from start to finish. The liquid that the bacon gives off is enough to take the place of oil or butter. I never included tomato in this dish before, and I loved it along with my entire family and it was so pretty, it looked like mosaic.
Ingredients:
1/2 da Giulia Tomato Basil(heated)
1/2 bacon chopped
1 lb pasta
4 eggs beaten
1/2 cup parmigiano
1 tsp chopped basil
salt and pepper
In large pan saute pan cook bacon until crisp about 5 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels. Pour off all the oil except 3 tablespoons. Add cooked pasta to skillet and add bacon back in and saute for 1 minute.
Season egg with salt and remove pan from heat and add eggs, whisk briskly so eggs dont scramble and add cheese. Add black pepper and basil and top with tomato basil.
