So we made a Tomato Basil Panini the other day, and because we don’t like waste, and we were in a hurry, we went for the obvious, Pasta!  I get it that is so easy to make a recipe that is only 4 ingredients, but in general, I don’t want a blog with difficult recipes, and as I said before, I  have set out to prove that sometimes the best tasting recipes are the simplest- ingredients and labor both! This dish is  both fresh tasting and light.

  • da Giulia Tomato Basil
  • 1 lb Spaghetti ( we used whole wheat)
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella
  • 1 ounce basil leaves

  1. Boil noodles according to instruction
  2. heat da Giulia Tomato Basil Sauce
  3. break up mozzarella with knife or shred with hands
  4. drain noodles
  5. place back in pot
  6. toss in sauce making sure noodles are all covered
  7. in serving platter, evenly distribute pasta and top with mozzarella and basil
  8. serve!
