So we made a Tomato Basil Panini the other day, and because we don’t like waste, and we were in a hurry, we went for the obvious, Pasta! I get it that is so easy to make a recipe that is only 4 ingredients, but in general, I don’t want a blog with difficult recipes, and as I said before, I have set out to prove that sometimes the best tasting recipes are the simplest- ingredients and labor both! This dish is both fresh tasting and light.
Ingredients
- da Giulia Tomato Basil
- 1 lb Spaghetti ( we used whole wheat)
- 8 ounces fresh mozzarella
- 1 ounce basil leaves
Instructions
- Boil noodles according to instruction
- heat da Giulia Tomato Basil Sauce
- break up mozzarella with knife or shred with hands
- drain noodles
- place back in pot
- toss in sauce making sure noodles are all covered
- in serving platter, evenly distribute pasta and top with mozzarella and basil
- serve!
