Ingredients
- 2 – 6 oz cans solid white tuna drained
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 1/2 finely chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic minced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 2 cups da Giulia Tomato Basil
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350
- In a bowl mix tuna, breadcrumbs, and egg lightly for a few minutes
- add onion, garlic and salt and pepper
- In large skillet heat oil on medium
- form tuna in 8 balls
- drop in skillet
- brown on both sides, 5 minute a side
- removed and bake in oven for 15 minutes, until golden brown
- In meantime heat da Giulia Tomato Basil in sauce pan on medium heat for 10 minutes
- When tuna balls are cooked, place on serving platter or bowl and top with sauce
