Ingredients 

  • 2 – 6 oz cans solid white tuna drained
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs  beaten
  • 1/2 finely chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 2 cups da Giulia Tomato Basil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. In a bowl mix tuna, breadcrumbs, and egg lightly for a few minutes
  3. add onion, garlic and salt and pepper
  4. In large skillet heat oil on medium
  5. form tuna in 8 balls
  6. drop in skillet
  7. brown on both sides, 5 minute a side
  8. removed and bake in oven for 15 minutes, until golden brown
  9. In meantime heat da Giulia Tomato Basil in sauce pan on medium heat for 10 minutes
  10. When tuna balls are cooked, place on serving platter or bowl and top with sauce
